Turkey’s General Directorate of Minting and Printing will establish a rebar monitoring system to monitor, record and inspect all stages including the production, import, use and laboratory tests of rebar in order to ensure tax security.

Within the scope of this system, the application of security labels to rebar and the monitoring of the basic data related to production activities and delivery processes will be obligatory.

Without safety labels, producers and importers will not be permitted to sell their inventories after January 1, 2024, and others (wholesalers, dealers and traders) after January 31, 2024.
